The Journal of Research in Agriculture and Food Sciences (JRAFS) maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and all forms of academic misconduct. The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity and publication ethics.
Plagiarism occurs when an author presents the words, ideas, data, or results of another person as their own without proper acknowledgment. This includes, but is not limited to:
Copying large portions of text from previously published works,
Reproducing figures, tables, or data without attribution,
Paraphrasing substantial sections of another’s work without citation, or
Submitting the same manuscript (or substantial parts of it) to more than one journal.
All sources must be appropriately cited in accordance with academic standards.
Every manuscript submitted to JRAFS is screened for plagiarism using iThenticate software prior to the review process.
This ensures originality and proper citation of all referenced materials.
At submission:
Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism will be immediately rejected.
After publication:
If plagiarism is identified post-publication, the article may be retracted, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the journal’s ethical policies and COPE guidelines.
Authors found guilty of plagiarism may be blacklisted from future submissions to JRAFS.
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their work.
By submitting a manuscript to JRAFS, authors affirm that:
Their submission is original and has not been plagiarized,
All sources and contributions are properly cited, and
The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
